Biography
Visual artist Ariadne Decker has already produced more than 2,000 works, exhibited at several fairs in the footwear leather sector, held more than 30 individual and 139 collective exhibitions in Brazil, of which 2 were individual and 21 were collective.
Born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, in 1960. As a child, he came to the city of Novo Hamburgo, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. In 1983 Ariadne graduated in Arts, with a full degree in Visual Arts from FEEVALE, in 2008 she took a postgraduate degree in Visual Poetics at the same University. He has been teaching drawing classes since he was 17 years old. In his artistic career, he participated in important movements for the visual arts in the city and in the state, such as Casa Velha – Convívio de Arte, Grupo Valão, Grupo Arte 15, Projeto ERNATES, Estúdio Arte Integrada.
She was culture director in the city of Novo Hamburgo between 2009 and 2013. She has been part of the artist bank of EBCT (Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos) since 2004 and has already published 14 stamps, in addition to festive cards and special envelopes.
She was the illustrator of the weekly children's notebook “POPINHA” at Grupo Editorial Sinos for 26 years with 1374 published editions. In addition to working as a graphic designer, illustrating educational books, he developed several special projects for companies, illustrated stamps, phone book covers, magazines, books and notebooks, wine labels, product packaging, among others.
In his studio, in addition to classes, he creates exclusive products with images of his works, painting works to order and researching new themes in his work.
